Meet
Real Estate Lover Connie Lancaster
Connie
Lancaster lives and breathes real estate. “Even when I go to
the mountains for vacation, I spend much of my time looking
at properties. Real estate has been a passion for many
years,” says Connie, who previously had a successful 20-year
career in the European automobile industry.
A resident
of St. Petersburg’s stately Old Northeast, Connie especially
loves dealing with historic homes, condos and bungalows in
the Old Northeast and southern Pinellas, as well as beach
properties. She also enjoys working with second home buyers
and vacation buyers. She even sells real estate in Western
North Carolina, where she has a mountain home. The “House of
Views,” as she calls the log cabin, is located in friendly
Maggie Valley, a popular destination in the heart of the
Great Smoky Mountains.
After years
of investing in properties in
St. Petersburg
for herself, family and friends, Connie teamed up with a
longtime friend, Cynthia Serra, and they both decided to
turn their hobby into their profession. After several years
in the business their work load warranted adding another
partner. Enter Edward Sandford. As a consultant in Chicago
and a master at Internet marketing for larger international
companies, Ed became the glue for the group known as The
Platinum Group (he keeps “the Ladies,” as he calls them, in
order).
Of her
business philosophy Connie says, “We try to limit the number
of clients we work with so we can do a good job for them.
With me you get three.” The clients benefit from the
contributions made by each team member and their support
staff.
Sales and
marketing are certainly a large part of what Connie and The
Platinum Group provide. They do offer so much more than is
traditional because of their close associations with their
team of vendors and the ability to offer their clients
knowledge and services that go far beyond the actual real
estate transaction.
The
